International Myotonic Dystrophy Awareness Day – 15th September!

Euro-DyMA are proud to be part of the worldwide alliance of Myotonic Dystrophy organisations supporting the International Myotonic Dystrophy Awareness Day on the 15th September each year.

Those focused on DM around the world are increasing awareness to help diagnosis, improve quality of life, provide the necessary care and bring treatments to the global DM community.

The current aims are to improve awareness with clinicians and to encourage engagement in the current and upcoming clinical trials. Please join us by spreading the word around your networks!

If you would like to know more, or to join the Global Alliance, please view the MDF page or contact us at Euro-DyMA.

On the 15th of September 2024, the Global Alliance for Myotonic Dystrophy Awareness unites over 60+ organisations from around the globe to mark the fourth annual International Myotonic Dystrophy Awareness Day. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about myotonic dystrophy (DM), a complex and often misunderstood genetic disease that affects thousands of individuals and families worldwide. This Awareness Day, the Global Alliance for Myotonic Dystrophy Awareness invites individuals, organisations, and policymakers around the world to raise awareness of myotonic dystrophy.
